Rosie Reports on her Trip to IMCAS 2017 in Paris I’ve just returned from what turned out to be a wonderful long weekend in Paris for the IMCAS Annual World Congress 2017. The International Master Course on Aging Science sees aesthetic practitioners, cosmetic surgeons, and dermatologists from all over the globe meet to share their knowledge.
I must start this summary with a confession, though, as I was experiencing some feelings of trepidation leading up to this world renowned aesthetics conference. I suppose I was having a moment of wondering ‘what on earth can little old me matter in an arena of so many giants?’ On the first day of the conference I realised that I needn’t have worried. Having made the 20 minutes or so walk from the hotel, miraculously avoiding falling on the sheet ice of the Parisian pavements, I entered into a friendly reception and within minutes had the most pleasant surprise of bumping into a friend and colleague I hadn’t seen for a long time. Said friend and colleague turned out, very happily, to be a recent recruit to my favourite brand and product, Profhilo, made by IBSA, the Italian hyaluronic acid experts.
